Agenda

1. By the end of class today the final version of your project is due. That will be your final exam grade. Remember that since we are skipping period 3 today you will not have a double block.

2. If you posted a rough draft, I have graded it and given you comments. Please read the comments.

3. Don’t forget to include a citations document if you used pictures that you didn’t take. You should credit your songs and artists at the end of your video.

1. Some of you have not yet posted the rough draft of your project. They were due yesterday.

2. This Wednesday 19 May the final version of your project is due. That will be your final exam grade. Remember that since we are skipping period 3 on Wednesday you will not have a double block that day.

1. Some of you have not yet posted an .mp3 of the audio track for your project. They were due last Wednesday.

2. For the people who posted an .mp3, I have graded them and given you comments. Please read them so you won’t lose points on your final version.

3. A rough draft of your entire project is due today. That means you’ll need to post a .wmv file if you’re doing a video (NOT a Windows Movie Maker project file!) or an .mp3 if you’re doing an audio-only project. There are instructions for saving your video as a .wmv under Instructions to the right in a file called “Submitting your video made in Windows Movie Maker.”

4. What is a rough draft? It should include all the audio & video (pictures) that will be in your final version, but it does not need to be precisely edited or have titles/credits.

Regardless of which type of project you are doing, you need to write a script which describes what the listener will hear and what the viewer will see. You need to write down all the words you will say and the songs you’ll use, in order. You need to have a description of the pictures we’ll see during the song. In your script/screenplay, you need to clearly identify what’s going on – identify when you’re talking, when there’s music playing, when and what we’re seeing.

1. We’ve switched gears and you should be now working on your chosen audio/video editing project. You should have shown me your proposal on Wednesday and posted it to Moodle.

2. There are documents describing the expectations for your projects on the right side of this blog under Instructions.

3. By the end of class on Monday you need to complete a script/screenplay.
